Latest Quarantine Details Released by CDC
DPH is reviewing the details released by the CDC a short time ago on the reduction of quarantine through symptom monitoring and diagnostic testing and will be adjusting our current policies accordingly. However, please note that this implementation will take some time and will not apply to cases under quarantine today.
Dining Establishments Closed Due to County Health Violations
Yesterday, DPH ordered four dining establishments in St. Louis County to cease operations due to continued violation of DPH Health Orders. Please keep in mind there are many, many other local restaurants that continue to follow public health orders and need continued support from the community by engaging in carry-out or drive-up services.
Those dining establishments that were noticed to cease operations can submit a plan to DPH on how they can remedy their operations in order to be in compliance. DPH is happy to consider any plan submission that meets the health order criteria within the 10-day window. Once compliance is met, DPH can reverse the permit suspension.
Please keep in mind that any interview with any St. Louis County Department of Public Health Employee, must be approved by the DPH Communications Team. This includes live on scene situations and is to ensure the proper information is disseminated by the proper subject matter expert.
