As the St. Louis County continues to reopen, there is still a great need in the community for assistance in many areas including utilities, rent and food. The CARES Act, signed into law Mar. 27, 2020, provides 120 days of eviction relief for tenants in federally-backed housing. A list of agencies that can help you, including additional relief resources and be found here.
The Dignified Transfer Center is currently accommodating 3 decedents. 53 additional individuals have been through the center and transported to a crematorium or funeral home, at the request of family. To date, 56 individuals have entered the Dignified Transfer Center.
