Guidance for Summer Camps

Earlier today, it was announced by St. Louis County and the St. Louis County Department of Public Health, that additional guidance for the reopening of summer camps is now available.

The guidance outline includes the following:

  • Programming
  • Logistics for social distancing and hygiene
  • Food Service
  • Control of Environmental Contamination of camp site and staff/children’s homes
  • Use of Playground Equipment
 

Personal Protective Equipment Distribution

The Department of Public Health is distributing 100,000 surgical masks to the Regional Response Team, 38,000 surgical masks to PrepareSTL, and 16,000 surgical masks to North County Incorporated today. All of these masks will be distributed directly from these organizational partners to members of the community. This is an early step in a larger effort by the Department of Public Health to distribute PPE to St. Louis County residents. Additional announcements for masks will be coming soon.

Memorial Day: Monday, May 25th, 2020

In observance of the Memorial Day Holiday, the daily St. Louis County COVID-19 Update will not be disseminated on Monday, May 25th. The Hotline will also be closed, so please direction questions to the State of Missouri, Division of Health and Senior Services hotline at (877) 435-8411.

Dignified Transfer Center

The Dignified Transfer Center is currently accommodating 3 decedents. 53 additional individuals have been through the center and transported to a crematorium or funeral home, at the request of family. To date, 56 individuals have entered the Dignified Transfer Center.
